Fortunato Gatto's Website
He had been living in the Milanese province, Northern Italy, for almost his whole life. During the last years of his Italian experience his developed aversion to urbanization and crowd led him to search and find only few moments of intimacy within wild nature, more and more difficult to be discovered. Amazed by Irish landscapes (June 2006) during his first approach to the United Kingdom and encouraged by a friend, he decided to buy his first digital reflex. Lacking of knowledge from a photographic point of view, the first notions he acquired came by surfing some Web Sites of important British (Joe Cornish, Gibbs, Cameron etc..) and American photographers (Galen Rowell, Michael Fatali etc.).
